As always the team from Only on the High Street are hosting our Halloween event and it promises to be just as good as previous years.

On both days there will be;

• Haunted House Trail - Follow the trail around the centre to reveal what lurks in the rooms of the Haunted House. Boost your ghost busting skills by wearing one of our special headpieces. When you return with your completed trail sheet you get the chance to ring the bell. No ordinary bell. Dare you ring it to collect your prize? If you don’t want to ring the bell, you’ll still get a sticker!

• Specimen Jar Challenge - Are you brave enough to dip your hand in the specimen jar to retrieve the golden key? The golden key unlocks the lucky dip hamper and witch’s treat cauldron. However, you need to get past the skulls, bats, spiders and body parts first!

• Photo Opportunity - Children are welcome to turn up in fancy dress on both days and we will have a selection of Halloween accessories that children can dress up with and pose in front of our Haunted House backdrop. They can have their photo taken and be featured on the Guildhall’s social media pages.

• Art & Craft - we will have a range of craft items available so that children can get creative and produce some scary artefacts to take home.

These activities are only on the specified dates;

• 30th October Only Halloween Games Try your hand at our selection of Halloween games to win a prize. Toss the Pumpkin, Splat the Spider, Skeleton Smile, Pin the Spider on the Web.

• 31st October Only Ghoulish Face Painting - Children can get Halloween Party ready by having their faces painted with a suitably spooky design. No need to book in advance,a book on the day system will be in operation. There will be up to five simple image options for children to choose from. Face Painting will be available from 11.30am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 3pm.

As always it is free to come along to our events, we just ask for a donation in the bucket to this year's charity, National Autistic Society (Stafford Branch).
