X MARKS THE SPOT FOR GUILDHALL TREASURE HUNTERS

Budding Sherlock Holmes are required for a forthcoming Guildhall Shopping Centre event.

A treasure trail around the Guildhall in Stafford on the 30^th and 31^st May, will see intrepid style-detectives seeking answers to a series of clues, to be in with a chance of winning big prizes.

And as well as £200 in shopping vouchers for the winners, there will be a prize for everyone who takes part.

The #STYLEHUNTERS weekend, which is thought to be the first event of its kind in the country, is a partnership between the Shopping Centre and more than 20 of their stores, including River Island, JD Sports, and Poundland.

Guildhall Shopping Centre Marketing Manager Anne Graham said: “#STYLEHUNTERS promises to be a fun and exciting event for all the family, with free colour, style and fashion tips from our experts, and most importantly prizes, on offer to everyone who takes part.

“And if that were not enough, there will be further prizes of up to £100 in shopping vouchers for the best images posted from the hotspot at the finishing point, to our Facebook or Twitter pages!”

The #STYLEHUNTERS partnership is the brainchild of “Only on the High Street” - style consultants who specialise in organising events for shopping centres and high street retailers.

Director Laraine Robathan-Field said: “Traditional retailing continues to face stiff competition from the growth of online shopping, so it is imperative for retailers to be innovative and think creatively to survive and compete.

“The key is to provide the customer with an experience they can’t get online.

“#STYLEHUNTERS will do just that – it will help the Guildhall engage with customers and encourage them to visit and shop at the Centre by providing them with a fun and exciting experience.”
